Congressional Bills ProjectThe Congressional Bills Project is a relational database of 379,000 public and private bills introduced in the U.S. House and Senate between 1947 and 2000. The dataset is primarily intended for use scholars and students of legislative politics. It includes detailed information about the topic of each bill (using the Policy Agendas codes), its progress in the legislative process, and its sponsor. Bill texts are not included.
